Tathya Nepal respects your privacy and provides you with the ability to delete your account and all associated data. This page outlines the process for requesting data deletion, particularly for users who have used Facebook Login to access our services.
Data We Collect via Facebook
When you log in using Facebook, we may collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your account. We do not access your private posts, friend lists, or other sensitive information without your explicit permission.
What Happens When You Delete Data?
Requesting data deletion will result in the permanent removal of: your profile information, your posts, your reactions (likes/shares), and any other personal identifiers associated with your account in our database. This action is irreversible.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your data associated with this app, please follow these steps: 1. Compose an email to tathyaanepal@gmail.com 2. Use the subject line: “Facebook Data Deletion Request” 3. Include the email address associated with your account and your full name. 4. (Optional) Provide a reason for deletion to help us improve our service. Alternatively, you can delete your account directly through the settings panel IF you are currently logged in.
Processing Timeline
Once we receive your request via email, our team will verify the request and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
Third-Party Data
Please note that deleting your data from Tathya Nepal does not delete data held by Facebook. You can manage your Facebook app permissions in your Facebook account settings.
